Merry Christmas

Well, another Christmas day is here and nearly finished.

My son received a shed load of toys and PC games. Where do you do when you receive even more toys, and you haven't got enough space for the first lot?

Tomorrow is my fathers birthday, so I will be taking a trip over to see him and the rest of the family. I think an iTunes voucher will be in order, so I can persuade him to upgrade his iPod Touch. He is stll making do with it as a music player, when it could be so much more. Either that or some family tree software for his Mac Mini. I'd like to give my parents something to do, and to get them using the Mini more.

To anyone reading this, who has parents who use Windows PC's, and you are trying to talk them into using a Mac, stick with it. My folks have had their Mini for a year, and XP for years before that, and when they do something on the XP box they are reminded how easy the Mac is.

If you think that lack of software is a major problem, then I recommend you look at http://www.macupdate.com. There is tons of free and low cost software of very high quality available for the Mac. I have never bought Mac software that I have been disappointed with.

If you are a PC software developer, looking at the Mac market, then go for it. From experience, I think Mac users are more likely to buy their software, where as PC owners tend to copy software.

Chronicfathead.
